We use beans imported by Pascucci Torrefazione.
In their mix, the espresso bean Arabica is mixed with Robusta beans.
The Robusta bean gives a fuller flavour and a thicker and nutty coloured cream on top of the espresso.
The mix we used contains 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta. The mix is originally developed for North Italian palates.
As a counterpart to the classic dark roasted espresso the North Italians appreciate a mild coffee.
